What we'll do:
Explore these links about The Gingerbread Man
Let's explore:
1. Listen to an online version of the story here. Answer the questions about the story on your study sheet.
2. Read the following poem about the Gingerbread Man:
One little gingerbread man
lying on tray.
One jumped up and ran away!
Catch me, catch me, if you can.
I run really fast.
I'm the gingerbread man!
On your study sheet, there is a place to draw a Gingerbread Man. Draw him there!
3. Now go to your desk with the folder game "The Gingerbread Baby Game." Play the game with your buddy. When you are done, you can count out 10 red hots each and eat them as a reward for getting to the Gingerbread House! Get another buddy group to come to the computer - you're done here.
How did you do?
On your study guide, rate how you worked together. See you next time!
You are done with this week's webquest!
Want to do more at home? Jan Brett has a video on how to draw the Gingerbread Baby from her version of this story. Go here to draw a gingerbread baby along with famous author and illustrator, Jan Brett.
