1. Draw a picture of a pumpkin on your choice of paper.

2. On the back, write the letters PUMPKIN vertically.

3. Create an acrostic poem: using the first letter (P) write a word or phrase that starts with P and is about pumpkins.  For example, Pat it and hear a hollow sound

4. Do the same with each letter you wrote vertically.  Be creative!  Your poem can include, sounds, the way pumpkins look, feel or taste when you eat it in a pie.

5. Bring your project to school and give to Mrs. Michael or Mrs. Hood for a Roadrunner!
